After heavy storms sweep through Mexican forests, local artisans seek out fallen Mexican ash trees, giving them new life through an extraordinary process. Each log is oyster-cut by hand, arranged in striking mosaic-like patterns, and thoughtfully combined with sustainably sourced European ash burl—creating a surface that is as unique as it is breathtaking.
Set atop a base of naturally oxidized steel, left to weather and develop its own rich patina over time, this sideboard balances organic texture with industrial soul. A reactive hand-applied finish enhances the wood’s natural tones, followed by a protective acrylic lacquer to preserve its beauty. Inside, two adjustable and removable shelves and integrated cord management offer both form and function.
