This collection is crafted from sustainably harvested reclaimed teak wood, selected for its natural beauty and durability.
Alesso’s reclaimed natural teak hardwood curated by HG is untreated and unfinished; its organic color tones are honed by finely sanding into a smoothed surface.
Natural teak highlights organic variations in color and graining. These characteristics may differ between pieces.
Natural teak may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features, adding character to your piece without affecting its quality or performance.
Teak hardwood contains natural oils that repel insects, prevent drying, and resist moisture. Teak is also resistant to fungal decay, rotting, and warping due to temperature or humidity.
Over time, natural teak’s warm, golden color eventually fades to a silvery-grey patina. Weathering will begin immediately when left uncovered and in daylight.
Tabletops are crafted from layers of high-strength glass fibers, Styrofoam, and reinforced concrete to create a lightweight yet exceptionally durable, weather-resistant composite.
Finished tabletops are varnished with a water-based topcoat for added protection.
